Amateur Radio Field Day

Charlottetown Amateur Radio Club is hosting an Amateur Radio Field Day at the Wood Islands Lighthouse June 22nd-23rd.

Field Day serves as an open house for ham radio enthusiasts, highlighting their commitment to public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical expertise. They will also be competing with 40,000 other Amateur (Ham) Radio enthusiasts across North America to see how many contacts they can make. There will be demonstrations and educational activities for anyone who is interested in learning about Ham Radio and Amateur Radio. A couple of their youngest members will also be there to encourage youth engagement in this field of activity.
